Roxane Kirton

Roxane Kirton BVMS MSc MRCVS 

Roxane graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2005 and, after a short spell in small animal practice, moved into the equine welfare sector in 2007. She worked at Redwings Horse Sanctuary as a Welfare Vet for over a decade before moving to the RSPCA where she is currently the Head Equine Vet. During her time at Redwings Roxane completed a Master’s in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln with her research thesis looking at the impact of different grazing systems on the behaviour and welfare of outdoor living ponies.
