We all know that working as an equine vet can be deeply rewarding, but it also comes with its share of demands and stress. That’s why we invite you to take a few moments each day to pause, reflect, and prioritise your wellbeing.
Boehringer has created a dedicated Mindfulness Lounge & Quiet Space. Drop in for one of the sessions or simply enjoy a moment of calm in the quiet space. Together, let’s nurture a veterinary community that is inclusive, supportive, and truly sustainable.

RunBEVA
Thursday & Friday from 6:30am
Get your mind ready for the day with an early morning jog or walk through the streets of Birmingham. Meet at the entrance of the Hyatt hotel.

Guided meditation
Thursday and Friday at 12:45pm or 1pm
Short, calming session with guided mindfulness. Drop in sessions. Allow 15 minutes per session.

Quiet zone
Thursday and Friday
8:30am - 12pm and 1:45pm - 5:15pm
Saturday: 8am - 6pm
An ideal space for reflection, journaling, or just sitting still. Some hands on activities such as colouring, mindfulness cards with quote or exercises, a subtle scented diffuser and some comfortable seating.

Mindful morning yoga
Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7am
Light stretches and breathing exercises to start the day grounded. Open to everyone, no previous experience necessary.

Slow wind down yoga
Thursday and Friday at 5:45pm
A gentle yoga to unwind with flowing, mindful movement.

Massage
Everday, all day in the exhibition hall
Visit the BEVA Trust stand (D44) in the exhibition hall to take a break and enjoy the Boehringer massage chair — a small moment of calm during a busy day.

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming breakfast to talk about equity, diversity and inclusion in equine practice.
This informal drop-in is open to everyone, whether you've got ideas to share, stories to tell, or just want to listen and learn.
