Qalibra Introduces a Space-Efficient CT Solution for Veterinary Practices

Qalibra is preparing to introduce its Modular CT Room, a robust and space-efficient solution designed to expand imaging capabilities in veterinary clinics—without the need for permanent construction or complex room planning.

Offered as a prefabricated modular unit, the Modular CT Room is engineered for efficient installation and long-term use. It requires only a power supply to operate, allowing clinics to integrate advanced CT imaging with minimal disruption to existing facilities.

Planned features include:

• Fixed-size, custom-built modular room

• Integrated lead shielding for radiation safety

• Air conditioning and heating for year-round climate control

• Optimized workflow design tailored to veterinary use

• Compatibility with all Qalibra CT systems (32–640 slice)

• Imaging of standing horses and conscious small animals

• Built-in hoist for horses under general anesthesia

• Expandable with optional auxiliary modules – such as surgical suite, recovery room, and imaging area

The Modular CT Room is designed to deliver high-quality diagnostics directly where they’re needed—offering a cost-effective and practical alternative to constructing a dedicated CT facility.

“Our goal is to remove the logistical and financial barriers that often prevent clinics from implementing advanced imaging,” said Dr. Thorben Schulze, CEO at Qalibra. “This upcoming solution reflects our commitment to practical, veterinary-driven innovation.”

Further updates, availability timelines, and technical specifications will

be shared in the coming months.
