BEVA Congress exhibitors win awards

Three outstanding exhibitors at this year’s BEVA Congress (10 - 12 September 2026) were given Awards for their inspired use of stand space.

The BEVA stand awards have become highly sought after amongst exhibitors at BEVA Congress, who numbered more than 100 this year. They were judged by BEVA Council members Gemma Dransfield and Phil Cramp, who assessed exhibitors against a range of criteria including visual impact, visitor engagement, effective use of space, brand communication and sustainability.

BEVA Congress Stand Sustainability Award

The Sustainability Award was introduced in 2025 as part of BEVA’s sustainability programme.

Qalibra CT was chosen as the winner of the Sustainability Award with their sleek, eye-catching stand.

“Their modular lightbox is multi-use with energy-efficient LEDs,” said BEVA Council representative Phil Cramp. “They have eliminated single-use stand materials and heavy timber, use lightweight components and inflatable seating to reduce transport volume, and are digital-first to minimise paper. They also explicitly say that every component is reused across international events for years.”

BEVA Congress Space Only Award

Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK was recognised for its outstanding exhibition stand at BEVA Congress, scoring highly across the judging criteria for visual impact, effective use of space and visitor engagement.

The judges were particularly impressed with the way Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK created an eye-catching and well-designed space while ensuring it remained welcoming and engaging for delegates.

“Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK delivered a stand that worked really well on a number of levels,” said Phil Cramp. “It had strong visual impact, made excellent use of the available space and, importantly, the team were actively engaging with delegates throughout Congress. It was a well-executed stand that successfully captured attention while creating a positive experience for visitors.”

The recognition highlights the team’s success in combining a strong visual presence with an engaging and effective experience for BEVA Congress delegates.

BEVA Congress Shell Scheme Award

World Horse Welfare was chosen as the winner of the BEVA Congress Best Shell Scheme, recognised for its bright, welcoming stand and the friendly and engaging approach of its team throughout Congress.

World Horse Welfare particularly impressed the judges with its bright and eye-catching stand, alongside the warm and friendly way the team engaged with delegates. The charity’s popular socks also proved a familiar favourite with visitors!

“World Horse Welfare’s stand really caught our attention with its bright and inviting look,” said Gemma Dransfield. “The team were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a lovely space for delegates to stop and chat. And, of course, the socks are always a huge hit – there were plenty of happy delegates showing them off around Congress. Their combination of visual impact and genuine engagement with visitors made them a very deserving winner.”

The award celebrates World Horse Welfare’s success in creating a stand that was visually engaging, welcoming and memorable for BEVA Congress delegates.

BEVA is a world leading equine veterinary association and a highly regarded authority representing the industry at the highest level, running outstanding CPD and producing universally respected journals. The annual Congress is the largest equine veterinary conference in Europe.
