Sustainability at BEVA Congress

Our Commitment

BEVA Congress is committed to reducing its environmental impact while delivering a high-quality, accessible event experience. From programme planning and materials to travel, catering and exhibitor engagement, sustainability is embedded across every stage of the Congress.

Speaker and programme planning

To minimise travel and maximise learning impact, our programme is designed with sustainability in mind.

  • Speakers are encouraged to deliver multiple sessions where possible, reducing travel requirements and associated emissions

  • All lectures are available digitally after the event, extending accessibility and enabling reuse across other BEVA CPD events

Materials & Branding

We actively reduce single-use materials by prioritising reusable and digital solutions across the event.

  • Recycled PET lanyards provided for all attendees

  • Reusable branding and signage implemented wherever possible

  • Digital signage used to minimise printed materials

  • Reusable decorations used at social events to reduce single-use waste

Exhibitor Engagement

We work closely with exhibitors and contractors to support more sustainable event practices.

Sustainable Stand Award

A Sustainable Stand Award recognises exhibitors who demonstrate:

  • Strong sustainability initiatives

  • Measurable environmental impact

  • A clear commitment to greener practices
