Become a student steward
Every year a team of Vet Students help us to make sure Congress runs smoothly.
It's a great opportunity to expose yourself to the equine veterinary world and meet other students.
What you will do?
Being a Student Steward will give you access to Europe's largest equine veterinary conference. This means you will have the opportunity to attend lectures by leading names, network with your future employers and get glimpse of what equine practice is all about.
As a Student Steward you will also take part in a wide variety of tasks including:
helping our exhibitors during the build and breakdown of the exhibition
welcoming everyone to Congress by manning the registration desk
assisting in the lecture halls
Who can apply?
All Student Stewards must be enrolled onto a full-time undergraduate veterinary degree and you must be a BEVA member (but don't worry online membership is free for Vet Students!).
You must be available from Tuesday 8 September to Saturday 12 September 2020.
What expenses do we cover?
As part of your Student Steward experience we will:
pay for all of your accommodation whilst you are with us and put you up in accommodation with all of the other student stewards so you're all in one place (always handy for nights out!)
we will cover your travel expenses (if you are travelling from overseas please ask us about our travel limits)
we will pay for your Annual Dinner and Dance ticket
How to apply?
To become a Student Steward you need to apply by 31 March 2020. All you need to do is send your CV and 200 words on why you want to be a Student Steward to Jocelyn (email@example.com.
Shortly after the 31 March we will review all applications and contact those who have been selected. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
