Chris Proudman

Chris Proudman MA VetMB PhD CertEO FRCVS 

Chris Proudman is Professor of Veterinary Clinical Science at the University of Surrey. Formerly Head of the new Vet School at the university, Chris has a portfolio of clinical and research experience in equine gastroenterology, surgery and racecourse veterinary work. He is a former member of the HBLB Veterinary Advisory Committee and has an extensive portfolio of racehorse and equine health research projects. He currently leads the Horse Microbiome Research Group at the University of Surrey which is using ‘omics technologies to better understand the intestinal microbiome in equine health and disease.
