What to expect when attending BEVA Congress 2021
Booking your Congress Ticket
We will require everyone attending BEVA Congress 2021 to have pre-booked. Unfortunately, this means we will not be taking registrations on the day.
We would encourage you to book your BEVA Congress 2021 ticket in advance (and take advantage of our early bird prices which end on Monday 16th August 2021).
Once you have booked Congress you may also be asked to select which sessions you plan to attend.
If you have any questions about booking Congress or attending in person please do not hesitate to contact us.
This year Congress Registration will be paperless. Ahead of the event, you will be sent a digital ticket which you will need to have ready when you arrive at the ICC.
You may also need to use this to sign in to the lecture halls.
We will provide you with more information on this closer to the event.
A Staggered Programme
You may have noticed the format of the programme has changed to ensure we can adhere to safety guidelines. The programme will feature three streams and each stream will have different start times to ensure we can avoid walkways becoming crowded.
ICC Safety Measures
The venue will provide hand sanitising stations and handwashing facilities throughout the venue, and will provide enhanced cleaning, especially in areas identified as high touch points.
There will be no cash payments taken at the ICC and BEVA. It will be card payments only.
The ICC do not accept Amex.
Safety Measures at BEVA Congress 2021
In 2021 BEVA Congress needs to be a little different.
You can expect the same event we all know and love but with a few new measures in place to ensure we can all stay safe during these uncertain times.
We have also introduced a 'peace of mind' bookings policy as we know that your personal situation may change between booking your ticket and the event.
COVID Safety Measures
BEVA will ask all event attendees to have a NHS COVID-19 Pass via the NHS App (NB this is different to the NHS COVD-19 Test and Trace App). It is advised individuals apply no later than 48 hours before attending the event to allow for the application to be processed in time, or obtain a letter proving vaccination status only – UK attendees can obtain an NHS COVID-19 Pass letter.
Proof of Immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of a self-isolation period. Negative Lateral Flow or PCR Test Result text or email, received within 72 hours prior to attending the event.
However, we would encourage visitors to complete their test within 48 hours. Lateral flow test results can be submitted here to obtain proof https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result (non UK attendees can also submit their test to this site). Checks will be performed on the entry.
We ask that you do not attend in person if you are suffering from any of the following: high temperature (above 37.8 degrees), new continuous cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste and / or smell.
Face coverings will be recommended for all.
